Fr. Andrew Damick presents a study of major themes of the Orthodox Christian faith as found in the letters of the 2nd century martyr and 3rd bishop of Antioch, Ignatius the God-bearer. In the 2nd half of part one, Fr. Andrew talks more extensively about martyrdom and the statement by St. Ignatius:
“I am the wheat of God. Let me be ground by the teeth of the wild beasts,
that I may be found the pure bread of Christ.”
