The Beauty of People

"Unless we look at a person and see the beauty there is in this person, we can contribute nothing to him. One does not help a person by discerning what is wrong, what is ugly, what is distorted. Christ looked at everyone he met, at the prostitute, at the thief, and saw the beauty hidden there. Perhaps it was distorted, perhaps damaged, but it was beauty none the less, and what he did was to call out this beauty."

Thank you. But I would like to ask who is Amma Taisia as the google search doesn't recognise this.

Also, if you find anything of interest in English on Orthodox topics, that would be greatly appreciated. (It's kind of hard reading your blog as I don't know Romanian, but I found you through Vasiliki (Gentle Heart Enlargement of the Heart blog)).

It would be nice for the others in my Orthodox fellowship to see Orthodoxy on the international stage.
