A message from Elder Eusebios of Pantanassa Monastery:
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I am writing to you from Pantanassa Greek Orthodox Monastery. You may not have heard about our monastery before. We are a Greek Orthodox monastery located on the Central Coast of N.S.W. Australia. Our monastery was established with the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Stylianos, Primate of the Greek Orthodox Church, in 1976, and currently consists of 5 monks. In May 2005 we began constructing a monastic complex in a beautiful location on top of a cliff overlooking the Dubbo Valley and nearby National Parks at Mangrove Mountain. Although construction has progressed well we have only completed about 45% of the project. In order to raise funds, the fathers of the monastery make and sell pure beeswax Easter Candles. These candles are ideal Easter gifts for relatives and God-children or for taking to Church for the Easter – Resurrection Service.
